This month's featured authors or illustrators

Why do we use it?
Edward Einhorn is the author of A Very Improbable Story (Charlesbridge), a picture book on probability, two modern novels set in the land of Oz, and numerous plays produced in New York City including the puppet piece Unauthorized Magic in Oz. Perhaps his most notable play was the Off-Broadway production of Fairy Tales of the Absurd, which he co-authored and directed and which The New York Times called almost unbearably funny.
Publicity Photo.gif (349268 bytes) REX BARRON is a film animator who has become a book illustrator and author. Born in New Jersey, educated at UCLA and Art Center College of Design, he now lives in New Mexico. While working in the film industry he was an illustrator, animator and background design artist for animation studios including Hanna-Barbera, Ralph Bakshi Productions and Filmation Studio in Los Angeles. Rex loves to play folk guitar, listen to classical music, and  attend figure drawing and painting workshops.
Chrysa Smith has had a lifelong love for words- from blue book essays and school newspapers to a stint as magazine editor for HBJ, a communications manager for a Fortune 500 company and (do I dare say?) over a dozen years as a freelance feature writer for national and regional magazines.
